TFHA "ROCKY TOP" Award

This Award is a new award that will be given out at each fur sale held by TFHA for the fur pelt that receives the highest price of each species.  A certificate will be mailed to the Member within a few weeks after each sale. 

 A TFHA "ROCKY TOP" Award hat with Gold Embroidery, will be given out to each person with the highest price paid for each species from a combination of all the Fur Sales for that trapping year.  For clarification, after all fur sales information is collected whether it be 2, 3 or 4 sales, the Trapper with the highest pelt out of all sales combined will receive the hat. There will only be 11 of these awarded each trapping year for the following Furbearers: Otter, Raccoon, Mink, Beaver, Muskrat, Red Fox, Gray Fox, Coyote, Bobcat and of course Skunk and Opposum.

Junior Trapper of the Year

This award will be awarded to any member of TFHA with one year minimum of membership required under the age of 16.  Criteria for this award is, but not limited to; Quality of Fur brought to the Fur Auctions for sale, which will show your dedication to our sport and also respect for the Fur Bearer you harvest, Volunteering your time in helping your Association with fur sales, meets, and conventions when possible.

Trapper of the Year

Criteria for the award is similar to the Jr Trapper of the Year Award but more emphasis on the help and time spent supporting your Association.  This award will be awarded to any member of TFHA with one year minimum of membership required over the age of 15.  Criteria for this award is, but not limited to; Quality of Fur brought to the Fur Auctions for sale, which will show your dedication to our sport and also respect for the Fur Bearer you harvest, Volunteering your time in helping your Association with fur sales, meets, and conventions whenever possible.

 

Director of the Year

This Award will be given out to the Director that has been a Director and a Member for a minimum of one year. Criteria for this award will be, but not limited to; number of members signed up by you, time spent helping your District as well as others with meetings, trapper training classes, and demos at conventions.  Thank you for Volunteering your time already, it is greatly appreciated.
